TokenLock can lock your Mac when it detects that your Apple InfraRed remote is being pressed. You can choose which button locks and unlocks your Mac, but we suggest that you make sure to pair a specific remote with your Mac, or ANY apple remote could be used to unlock or lock it.
To pair a remote:
- Hold the remote close to the computer (3 to 4 inches away) and point the remote at the front of the computer.
- Pair the Apple Remote.
- If you have an Apple Remote with seven buttons, press and hold both the Right and Menu buttons on the remote until the paired-remote icon appears on your screen (about 5 seconds).
- If you have an Apple Remote with six buttons, press and hold both the Next and Menu buttons on the remote until the paired-remote icon appears on your screen (about 5 seconds).
