The Items to Transfer settings section allows you to select which media from your iPad or iPhone you want to have MediaTransfer copy to your computer.
By default just Shot or Saved is selected.
Shot or Saved Includes all your photos and videos you have shot with the iPhone camera, as well as any items you have saved from web pages and other locations - essentially the "Saved Photos" Album that you see in the Photos Application.
iTunes Albums Includes all the photos and videos in the Albums you selected to sync from your computer to the iPhone or iPad in iTunes. This will include pictures and videos imported using the iPad camera connection kit.
iTunes Faces Includes all the photos and videos in the Albums you selected to sync from your computer to the iPhone or iPad in iTunes.
iTunes Events Includes all the photos and videos in the Albums you selected to sync from your computer to the iPhone or iPad in iTunes.
Library Includes all the photos and videos in the library - but does not include media that has been shot with the camera, saved or imported from the Camera Connection Kit.
All Media Includes all the photos and videos that MediaTransfer has access to, regardless on your iPhone or iPad.
There is also a section underneath this where you can select what Items to explicitly ignore, and the combination of these two options allows you the most felxibility currently available to auto-select images.
Essentially Items to transfer are added to the queue are added, and then Items to explicitly ignore are removed before transferring.
There are two buttons beneath these settings - the first reverts to defaults - which simply uploads pictures and video taken as well as items saved on iPhone or iPad.
The second activates a select set of switches to
upload pictures and video taken on iPhone or iPad, items saved on iPhone or iPad as well as items imported from the camera connection kit.
